Course Overview
We offer the ITC Level 3 Award in Emergency First Aid for Schools and Colleges, a nationally recognised qualification that includes:
- Assessments of situation and casualty
- Airway, breathing and circulation assessments, including emergency resuscitation
- Safe airway position
- Dealing with choking
- Dealing with seizures
- Treatment of severe bleeding and shock
Certification
- Award: Level 3 Emergency First Aid for Schools and Colleges
- Accredited by: ITC First Aid Ltd (regulated by Ofqual and SQA)
- Validity: 3 years
- Duration: 6 hours (typically 9am–4pm)

- Course cost includes tuition, course handbook, registration and certification
- The courses are of a practical nature and will involve “treating” other course members and acting as a casualty, both indoors and outdoors so course participants should come with appropriate clothing
